  2. This is a useful progression from measuring angles to tangrams, Tetris, and coordinate games. I especially like that Find the Alien and Shape Mods give children a reason to use position and rotation instead of just naming shapes. For a child who wants to turn one of those spatial puzzles into a small 2D game, an character sprite maker could help with the moving character while they draw the grid and test the rules. Which activity held your children’s interest longest?
