Geography Games!

My children love to play do school on the computer. Don't yours?

Here are some geography games that I keep around for me them to play.

SHEPHERD SOFTWARE

These are classic, leveled, well-designed games that fit any age. There are games to teach world, continental, Canadian, Mexican, and American geography. Pick a flavor!

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC GEOBEE QUIZ—EVERY DAY!

A new quiz—on two levels—every day. Awesome! These are the typical geobee questions of applied geography.

GEONET

This one is made by Houghton Mifflin. In my honest opinion, it looks like they spend a lot of money to do what the above games do better, but some of you might like it's interface. I'm going to stick with the others.

GEOGESSR

This is a neat one. It chooses a ground level picture from Google Earth and you have to plot it on a map. It's harder than you think. Yeah, I've spent a lot of time on this one.

TRAVELER IQ

This one is my absolute favorite! They name a place and you have to click on a world map to show where it is. It's that simple! It is timed and there are 12 levels. I can't get past level 10!!! My Traveler IQ is 119. What's yours?
